Author: Cascade
Product ABC Analysis classifies products into 3 ranks, A / B / C, based on their cumulative share of revenue. This helps you decide "which products should receive more inventory or ad budget" and "which products should be reviewed for removal". Open it from EC > Items in the left menu.

ABC classification criteria
Products are sorted from highest to lowest revenue. Each product's rank is determined by where its cumulative share falls.
Rank | Cumulative share | Details |
|---|---|---|
A | Top 70% | Core products that contribute the most revenue |
B | 70–90% | Secondary core products |
C | 90–100% | Products with a small share of revenue |

Usage notes
If any day exceeds the maximum number of products that can be saved per day, the message "Some products are excluded from this aggregation (up to 1,000 products per day)." appears.
If syncing has not reached the end of the period, the message "These are estimates based on [synced days]/[total days] of synced data." appears.
If you use Shopify Exclusion Settings for Shopify, shares are calculated without products in the excluded collections.
