Video Generation uses AI to create ad videos for social media from a product page URL. You can create narrated ads, avatar talking videos, try-on demos, and videos that animate only the product, without live-action filming.
Open Creative > Video Generation from the left menu.
4 ways to create videos
Select a video type using the tabs at the top of the screen. Narrated Ad is selected by default.
Video type | Description | Video length |
|---|---|---|
Narrated Ad | Introduces your product with narration throughout. Cuts change every 2 seconds, and subtitles are included. No faces appear. | About 20 seconds / about 30 seconds / about 40 seconds |
Avatar Talk | An avatar introduces your product while facing the camera. For longer videos, you can include a product usage scene in the second half. | 5 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 seconds |
Try-On | A demo video in which an avatar holds up a garment, changes into it, and wears it. Designed for apparel e-commerce. | 5 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 seconds |
Product Only | Animates only the product image, with no people. | 6 / 8 / 10 / 15 seconds |
Requirements
Available on the Business plan.
Owners, Admins, and Editors can generate videos and edit subtitles. Viewers can only view the generation history.
Each video consumes AI credits. The amount depends on the video type and length (see the table below). Your monthly free credits are used first, followed by paid credits to cover any remaining amount. Owners and Admins can purchase credits from Settings > Billing / Plan.
Reading product pages, drafting scripts and outlines, and editing subtitles do not consume credits.
If generation fails, the credits used for that video are refunded.
Credit usage
Video type | Length and credits used |
|---|---|
Narrated Ad | About 20 seconds = 22 / about 30 seconds = 31 / about 40 seconds = 45 |
Avatar Talk / Try-On | 5 seconds = 6 / 6 seconds = 7 / 8 seconds = 9 / 10 seconds = 12 / 12 seconds = 14 / 15 seconds = 17 |
Product Only | 6 seconds = 5 / 8 seconds = 6 / 10 seconds = 7 / 15 seconds = 11 |
Steps
1. Open Creative > Video Generation

Top of the Video Generation screen (video type tabs and settings)
Use the tabs at the top of the screen to switch video types. Hover over a tab to see a description of that type. Remaining Credits appears at the top right.
2. Set the video type options
The options under Video Type Settings vary by video type.
Field | Applies to | Description |
|---|---|---|
Video Size | Narrated Ad / Avatar Talk / Try-On | Choose 9:16 (vertical, Shorts/Reels), 1:1 (square, feed), or 16:9 (horizontal, YouTube). Product Only videos keep the product image's aspect ratio. |
Duration (seconds) | All | Choose from the durations available for each video type. The number of credits used varies. |
Dialogue language | Narrated Ad / Avatar Talk / Try-On | Japanese / English. AI-generated scripts and scene directions also use this language. Switching languages clears any scripts and scene directions already entered. |
Voice type | Narrated Ad | Choose from 4 female and 4 male voices. Click Preview to listen. |
Video structure | Avatar Talk | In addition to Auto (match the video length), you can choose Just holding and talking, Add a usage scene in the second half (8 seconds or longer), or Quick cuts of usage scenes (12 seconds or longer). |
Subtitles | Avatar Talk | Choose whether to include the script as subtitles in the video. The default is Add. Narrated Ad videos always include subtitles. |
Motion level | Product Only | Static (subtle changes only) / Subtle (breathing + micro-expression) / Dynamic (product micro-rotation) |
3. Choose an avatar (Avatar Talk / Try-On)

Avatar preset selection screen
In the Avatar section, specify an image of the person who appears in the video. Click Choose from preset to choose from 21 avatars. You can filter by Female or Male. You can also upload 1 PNG or JPEG image of your own.
4. Enter product information

Product information and image selection fields
Field | Required / optional | Description |
|---|---|---|
Product/service URL | Required | Enter the product page URL and click →. AI reads the product name and description and extracts images from the page. It then fills in a draft script or outline. For Try-On, enter the garment page URL. |
Product Name / Product description | Required | Filled in automatically from the URL. You can enter or edit these fields manually. Try-On has a single Garment description field. |
Image to use | Optional | Images extracted from the page appear here. Click to select or deselect an image, and double-click to enlarge it. Selected images serve as references for the video. |
Product Image (Garment image for Try-On) | Optional | You can upload 1 PNG or JPEG image. If you do not upload one, AI automatically selects an image from the page. An uploaded image takes priority. For Product Only, an upload is required, and images containing people cannot be used. |
Reference video | Optional (Narrated Ad) | Upload an ad video you want to use as a reference for editing pace, mood, and color. Supports MP4, MOV, and WebM, up to 200MB. For videos longer than 30 seconds, only the first 30 seconds are used as a reference. |
While the URL is being read, "AI is drafting this content…" appears, and you cannot edit the product information, images, or draft text. Loading a different product's URL replaces the previous product's images and draft text.
For Narrated Ad and Product Only, AI analyzes the product image when you upload it. If the image may contain a person, a warning appears and you cannot generate the video.
5. Review the structure and draft text
When you load the URL, AI fills in a draft. You can edit it directly, and the edited content is used as-is to create the video.
Structure (scenes, captions, narration) for Narrated Ad

Narrated Ad outline (full narration script and shot list)
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Ad Type | There are 10 types: Empathy hook, Before/After, Benefit rush, Demo, Unboxing review, Surprise hook, Story, Comparison, Reasons list, and Offer first. Select Auto to let AI choose a type suited to your product and display its choice. Changing the type regenerates the structure and draft text. |
Closing style | Auto (based on campaign presence), Keep footage rolling, short line, Close with a campaign card, or Close with a Product Card (Photo + Short Line). When you select Auto, the choice appears below. |
Narration script | The voice-over script for the entire video (up to 600 characters). The synthesized voice reads it exactly as written. |
Shot list | Each 2-second cut has a Scene (up to 300 characters) and a Caption (up to 30 characters). Click the thumbnail on the left to choose a different photo from Image to use for that cut to recreate. Use Upload image to add photos that are not on the page. |
Offer & CTA panels | Offer text (up to 40 characters) is the campaign card headline, used for card endings. CTA text (up to 30 characters) is the final call to action. AI fills in drafts for both. |
Generating an outline takes about 1–2 minutes. After changing the video length, dialogue language, or ad type, click Redraft structure before generating the video.
Script & Scene Direction for Avatar Talk / Try-On
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Ad Type | Choose Auto or one of 8 types (Unboxing review and Story are available only for Narrated Ad). Changing the type regenerates the script and scene directions. |
Speech | The words the avatar speaks. If you leave this blank, AI writes the script during generation. A character-count guideline based on the duration and language appears. You cannot generate the video if you exceed it. |
Hook line (opening) / Voice-over (after the hook) | These fields appear only for the Quick cuts of usage scenes structure. Both are required. |
Scene setting | The filming setup, such as location, lighting, and format. Your edits are used as-is during generation. |
Scene direction | A table of scenes by time. The displayed content is used as-is during generation. After changing the video length or structure, click Rewrite draft. |
Usage-scene reference | For structures that include a usage scene, use the last scene's thumbnail to select 1 real photo to recreate. Only photos without faces are available. |
6. Click Generate
The number of credits required appears next to the button. You cannot click it if you do not have enough credits. To start entering your information again, click Clear.
During generation, "Generating video..." appears. Generation continues even if you leave this page, and you receive the message "Video generation is complete." when it finishes. The generation history shows statuses such as Waiting, Preparing, Generating, and Saving in sequence. If the generation engine retries, Retrying appears with the retry count.
7. Edit subtitles
Completed videos with subtitles show an Edit subtitles button. In Edit subtitles, you can change the text for each segment and re-burn the subtitles. The video itself is not regenerated, and no credits are used.
Each subtitle can contain up to 60 characters. Line breaks can split it into up to 2 lines.
Rows you leave empty are deleted.
Click Save & re-burn to update the video.
8. Use your generated videos

Generation history list
Completed videos appear in Generation History and can be played directly on their cards. Each card shows the video size, type, and product name. If a video finishes despite a failure to load background music or the reference video, a notice appears below the card.
Generated videos also appear as Generated Videos under Creative > Library, where you can download them.
Troubleshooting
Symptom | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
"Insufficient credit balance" | Your combined free and paid credit balance is less than the amount required. | An Owner or Admin needs to purchase AI credits from Settings > Billing / Plan. |
"Video generation failed. No credits were consumed. ...Please select a different avatar." | An automatic check determined that the avatar image cannot be used. | Wait a while and retry, or choose a different avatar. |
"The product image was rejected by the copyright and trademark filter." | The image was identified as containing a celebrity, brand logo, watermark, or similar content. | Use another image you have the rights to use. |
"Rejected by content moderation." | The image or script was found not to meet the AI usage standards. | Review the image, script, and scene directions, then generate the video again. |
"The image cannot be loaded, or its size or aspect ratio is outside the supported range." | The image is too small or has an extreme aspect ratio. | Use a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image with both dimensions at least 300px and an aspect ratio from 1:2.5 to 2.5:1. |
"This image may contain a person." | The product image for Product Only or Narrated Ad contains a person. | Upload an image of only the product, with no people. |
"No usable product images were found on the product page." | A product image could not be selected from the page's images (credits have been refunded). | Upload a product image and retry. |
"The script is too long for the video duration" | The script exceeds the character-count guideline for the duration. | Shorten the script or increase the video length. |
"The selected language does not match the input text language" | The dialogue language differs from the language of the text you entered. | Revise the text or change Dialogue language. |
"The duration or language has changed." "The video length or structure has changed." | You changed the settings after creating the outline or scene directions. | Click Redraft structure or Rewrite draft before generating the video. |
"The video generation engine is busy." | The service is temporarily busy. | Wait about 1 minute and retry. Credits for failed generations are refunded. |
"Subtitles cannot be edited for this video." | The video was generated without subtitles or with the previous generation system. | Set subtitles to Add and generate the video again. |
