About JETRO Startup Alumni Meetup
JETRO Startup Alumni Meetup is a large annual gathering that brings together participants from JETRO's startup support programs. Startup founders, investors, and supporters active in Japan and abroad come together to share insights and network, making it an important community event within the startup ecosystem.
About the session
Miyauchi took part in a panel discussion on the theme "The new rules of fundraising: building VC relationships and equity-based accelerators."
Together with Oikawa, CEO of Glidely, he spoke candidly about startup fundraising strategy and how to make effective use of accelerator programs, drawing on first-hand experience. The session was moderated by Sonoda of JETRO.
As the means of raising capital continue to diversify, we believe we were able to convey the real experience of a founder — the importance of building relationships with VCs, and the value that comes from joining an equity-based accelerator.
